An article of clothing for a torso having a removably attachable decorative "V"-back panel, the article of clothing comprising a back surface having an opposed pair of diverging upright seams contiguous with an opposed pair of horizontal seams defining a truncated "V"-shaped quadrilateral aperture in the back surface, the seams having contiguous non-buckling releasable fasteners along the seams for releasable fastening to corresponding mating fasteneners on the decorative "V"-back panel, wherein the "V"- back panel has a corresponding quadrilateral shape to the aperture for snug non-buckling fitment therein.
