The present invention relates to molded articles suitable for the transport or storage of fuels used in internal combustion engines and having improved fluid permeation barrier properties, made from a polyamide resin composition comprising: (a) 100 weight parts of a polyamide-containing compound, (b) 5 to 50 weight parts of phenolic novolac resin, and optionally (c) an ethylene/a- olefin copolymer impact modifier, where the impact modifier is present in up to 40 weight percent, based on the total weight of the composition.
La présente invention concerne des articles moulés appropriés au transport ou au stockage de carburants utilisés dans des moteurs à combustion interne et possédant des meilleures propriétés de perméance aux fluides. Lesdits articles sont élaborés à partir d'une composition de résine de polyamide contenant (a) 100 parts en poids d'un composé contenant du polyamide, (b) entre 5 et 50 parts en poids d'une résine novolac phénolique et, facultativement, (c) un modificateur d'impact copolymère d'éthylène et d'.alpha.-oléfine, ledit modificateur d'impact représentant jusqu'à 40 % en poids du poids total de la composition.
