The invention relates to an articulated arm transport device (11-14) which is especially provided for the automation of large component transfer presses. Said articulated arm transport device is characterized by a kinematics and design that do not require any additional clearance between the press rams (3) and pillars (7-10) and that permit an introduction or extraction of workpieces even with a small clearance between the upper and lower tool (3, 5). The articulated arm transport device is mounted above the workpiece transport plane on the press stands. The articulated arm part (20) linked with the cross- member (17) is shorter than the articulated arm part (19) and makes a pivoting movement (48) substantially above the common pivot (35). A lifting and/or pivoting movement can be carried out by means of controlled lift drives (21, 22) that are functionally linked with transmission means.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de transport à bras articulé (11-14) destiné notamment à l'automatisation de presses à moulage par transfert à grands composants. L'invention se distingue par une cinématique et une forme de construction qui n'exigent aucun espace libre supplémentaire entre le coulisseau de presse (3) et les montants (7-10) et permettent l'insertion ou l'enlèvement de pièces dès un faible espace libre entre l'outil supérieur et l'outil inférieur (4,5). Le dispositif de transport à bras articulé est placé sur les montants de presse au-dessus du plan de transport des pièces. L'élément bras articulé (20) qui est relié à la traverse (17), est plus court que l'élément bras articulé (19) et un mouvement de rotation (48) est exécuté sensiblement au-dessus du pivot commun (35). Des mécanismes de levage (21, 22) qui sont en liaison active avec des moyens de transmission réglables, permettent d'exécuter un mouvement de levage et/ou de rotation.
