A B S T R A C T AN ARTICULATED PIPE DISCHARGE RAMP AND A METHOD FOR LAYING A PIPELINE An articulated pipe discharge ramp attachable to a pipelaying vessel for guiding a pipeline being laid comprises a plurality of elongated interconnected members arranged in end-to-end relationship, and joints interconnecting each pair of said segments to permit said segments to flex in any direction within a preselected angle. Each joint comprises two sockets, each in adjacent ends of the pair of segments, and two interconnected socket-filling members. (Fig. 3)
