An articulated platform mechanism (10) includes a base, a mounting frame (11) including a platform (12), the frame having multiple attach portions (14); a mounting (70) attached to each of the attach portions; a series of cams (16) each having at least one cam surface; a series of crowned cam followers (15, 18); a series of drive motors (19); one of each of the cams or one of each of the followers being attached to each one of the mountings, the other of the cams and the followers being in rolling association with respective ones of each cam or cam follower; and wherein each motor drives a respective cam or follower not attached to the mountings, to actuate the platform in vertical lift, tilt front-to-back and tilt left-to-right.
Un mécanisme de plate-forme articulée (10) comporte une base, un bâti (11) comprenant une plate-forme (12) et présentant plusieurs parties d'attache (14); une monture (70) fixée à chaque partie d'attache; une série de cames (16) présentant chacune au moins une surface de came; une série de galets suiveurs sphéroïdes (15, 18); une série de moteurs d'entraînement (19); une des cames ou un des galets suiveurs étant fixé à une des montures, les autres came et galets suiveurs étant en relation de roulement les unes par rapport aux autres et chaque moteur d'entraînement entraîne les cames ou un galets suiveurs respectifs non fixés à aux montures, ce qui permet l'actionnement de la plate-forme en montée verticale, basculement d'avant en arrière et de gauche à droite.
