ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicle comprising separable wheeled sections that supports an elongated load therebetween in the manner of a Schnabel-type rail- way car or over-the-road vehicle. The vehicle is characterized by the inclusion of a pivotal arrangement intermediate coupled wheeled sections that reduces the longitudinal distance between vertical pivot points and, thus, reduces the side clearance re- quired when empty cars are joined together and subjected to routine transportation over a curved roadway. -1-
