ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Articulation of an excavator scoop to a centre of rotation arranged at the free end of an excavator boom, characterized in that arranged at the free end of the boom is a cap facing the rear wall of the scoop which is hinged at the centre of notation, the surface of the cap having a radius, the centre of which is located at the said centre of rotation; and in that a stripper plate of the same width as the boom on the rear wall facing the boom, co-operates with the cap in such a manner that only sufficient play to allow freedom of movement is provided between the cap and stripper plate, the imaginary extension of the stripper plate, arranged parallel with the upper edge of the bearing plate, intersecting the radius of the cap at a point located on the upper flange of the boom.
