ARTIFICIAL KNEE JOINT Abstract of the Disclosure The invention concerns an artificial knee joint having an upper joint and a lower joint, each having a front hinge and a rear hinge. The two front hinges and the two rear hinges are connected together by links, the connection being formed by two links at both sides of the middle of the joint. The connecting line between the two front hinges and that between the two rear hinges are inclined at a small angle relative to one another. The connecting line between the two hinges of the lower joint part extends substantially horizontally. This structure is quite simple and requires less space than many of the conventional joints.
