Le nez artificiel (1) comporte un boitier (20) tenu à la périphérie de l'orifice chirurgical (s) par une embase annulaire (10) munie d'un adhésif double face (15) contenant un disque filtrant (40) hydrophile qui forme échangeur à circulation alternée de chaleur et d'humidité entre l'air exhalé et l'air inhalé. Une grille (30) est disposée entre la masse filtrante (40) et l'orifice chirurgi- cal (3), et possède une surface antérieure plane (32) au contact de la masse filtrante, et une surface postérieure (31) bombée avec des passages calibrés. La distance entre face postérieure (31) et face antérieure (32) est telle que, conjointement avec le calibre des passages, des mucosités expulsées de la trachée ne puissent, pour l'essentiel, atteindre la masse filtrante.
