An artificial stone of the following composition having a deep color tone, gloss and high--density uniform texture. A 10-70 mesh inorganic fine particle component is used, and the sum of this fine particle component and not less than 100 mesh inorganic particulate component accounts for not less than 85 wt.% of a product, a resin component accounting for less than 15 wt.% thereof. The surface of the fine particle component is partially or wholly coated with an organic material and cured in advance. In the artificial stone, all the components are composed uniformly, and the fine particle component is exposed in an outer surface of the stone by being polished.
La présente invention concerne une composition de pierre artificielle caractérisée par une couleur d'un ton soutenu, par une texture uniforme lustrée et de forte densité. La composition comprend un composant de particules fines non organiques d'un calibre de 10 à 70 meshs, le total de ce composant de particules fines et d'un composant de particules non organique d'un calibre au moins égal à 100 meshs constituant au moins 85 % en poids du produit, un composant résineux constituant moins de 15 % en poids dudit produit. La surface du composant de fines particules est enduite partiellement ou totalement d'une substance organique et durcie à l'avance. Tous les composants de la pierre artificielle ont une composition uniforme, un polissage de la surface externe de la pierre rendant apparent le composant de particules fines dans une surface externe de la pierre.
