The invention relates to an artificial vagina for collecting animal semen, comprising two half-shells (3a, 3b) that can be positioned relative to each other so as to form a tubular rigid shell (3) open at both ends. A half-sleeve is provided inside each half-shell so that once the two half-shells are positioned relative to each other so as to form said shell, the two half-sleeves define a tubular housing (21) capable of receiving an animal penis, and is soft and elastically deformable in the radial direction. At least one of the half-shells (3a) comprises a side opening for manually exerting, through said half-shell, a radial pressure on the corresponding half-sleeve.
Le vagin artificiel pour la récolte de semence animale comporte deux demi- coques (3a, 3b) aptes à être positionnées l'une par rapport à l'autre pour former une coque (3) tubulaire, rigide et ouverte à ses deux extrémités. A l'intérieur de chaque demi-coque est adapté un demi-manchon, de telle sorte qu'une fois les deux demi-coques positionnées l'une par rapport à l'autre pour former ladite coque, les deux demi-manchons forment un logement (21) tubulaire qui est apte à accueillir la verge d'un animal, et qui est mou et déformable élastiquement dans une direction radiale. Au moins l'une des demi-coques (3a) comporte une ouverture latérale permettant d'exercer manuellement à travers la demi-coque une pression radiale sur le demi-manchon correspondant.
