In one aspect, the present invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules that each: (a) encode an aryl propenal double bond reductase; and (b) hybridize to a nucleic acid molecule consisting of the complement of the nucleic acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 under defined conditions. The present invention also provides isolated aryl propenal double bond reductases. In other aspects, the present invention provides methods of enhancing or inhibiting the expression of aryl propenal double bond reductases in a plant.
Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne des molécules d'acides nucléiques isolées qui assurent chacune: (a) le codage d'une réductase à double liaison aryle propénal; et (b) l'hybridation avec une molécule d'acide nucléique constituée du complément de la séquence d'acide nucléique caractérisée par SEQ ID NO: 1 dans des conditions définies. L'invention concerne en outre différentes réductases isolées du type considéré. Selon d'autres aspects, l'invention concerne des procédés relatifs à l'amélioration ou à l'inhibition de l'expression de ces réductases dans une plante.
