The present invention relates to the assessment of lung cancer. It discloses the use of protein ASC in the assessment of lung cancer. It also relates to a method for assessing lung cancer in vitro using a liquid sample, derived from an individual by measuring ASC in said sample. Measurement of ASC can, e.g., be used in the early detection or in the follow-up of patients with lung cancer.
La présente invention concerne lévaluation du cancer du poumon. Elle concerne lutilisation de la protéine ASC pour évaluer le cancer du poumon. Elle concerne également un procédé dévaluation du cancer du poumon in vitro utilisant un échantillon liquide, prélevé chez un individu, par mesure de lASC dans ledit échantillon. La mesure de lASC peut être utilisée, p. ex., lors de la détection précoce ou du suivi de patients atteints dun cancer du poumon.
