This disclosure relates to a derivative of L-ascorbic acid which is stable, easily incorporated into cosmetically acceptable vehicles and enzymatically bioreversible in the skin to free ascorbic acid and a safe alkanol component. The L-ascorbic acid derivative includes choles- terol. The L-ascorbic acid derivative is a compound selected from the group consisting of 3'-(L-ascorbyl-2-o-phosphoryl)-cholesterol or homologs and salts thereof.
Cette invention a trait à un dérivé d'acide 1-ascorbique stable, facilement incorporé à des excipients acceptables du point de vue de la cosmétologie et bioréversible par voie enzymatique dans la peau, c'est à dire se transformant en acide ascorbique libre et en composant d'alcanol sans danger.
