An asphalt resurfacing sprayer comprises a storage vessel for retaining asphalt resurfacing fluid therein, a spray assembly for spraying asphalt with the resurfacing fluid, and a fluid delivery system coupled to the storage vessel and the spray assembly for supplying the spray assembly with the resurfacing fluid under pressure. The fluid delivery system consists of a resurfacing fluid pumping system and a control system coupled to the pumping system for allowing the flow rate of the resurfacing fluid to be changed on demand. A fine mesh filter, having a number of small apertures, is disposed in between the pumping system and the spray assembly for pulverizing particulate matter contained in the resurfacing fluid. The storage vessel, spray assembly, pumping system and filter are all mounted on a truck frame for moving the spray assembly along the asphalt.
