The distribution hopper is mounted on an articulated mounting for movement throughout an area around and adjacent to the vehicle, for distributing asphaltic material to holes need- ing patching, burners for heating the hole, and a tamper is, also, mounted on the articulated mounting. The patching is accomplished by one worker operating the patching mechanism.
