In the production of large scale and high quality in-vitro fertilization of bovine oocytes, the ability to efficiently extract oocytes from bovine ovaries is one of the initial but yet crucial steps of the entire test-tube embryo technology. The quantity of high quality in- vitro fertilization embryos produced is often a product of a high number of viable oocytes that are initially extracted successfully. This present invention enables an increase in the rate and number of oocytes extracted from bovine ovaries that is less labor- intensive and less costly.
