The invention is directed to assays and methods for transcript imaging. More particularly, the invention is directed to assays and methods for detecting, determining and quantifying the expression level of all known biomolecules in a family of biomolecules, including tyrosine kinases, tyrosine phosphatases and serine/threonine kinases, in uncharacterized biological samples, regardless of species. Such assays and method may be used as a diagnostic, therapeutic and/or research tools.
