The invention provides an assay device for quantification or detection of the presence or absence of an analyte in a liquid sample, comprising a moulding (1) permanently or removably attached to a substantially planar plate (2) such that a part of said moulding forms a capillary chamber (3) between said plate and the said moulding, the device further comprising a chamber (5) into which a test sample and/or reagent can be introduced and further comprising a chamber (7) capable of accomodating an absorbent pad, wherein the said chamber into which a test sample and said chamber capable of holding an absorbent pad are in lateral flow contact via the said capillary chamber (3).
L'invention concerne un dispositif de dosage destiné à quantifier ou à détecter la présence ou l'absence d'une substance à analyser dans un échantillon liquide, ledit dispositif comprenant une moulure (1) fixée de manière permanente ou amovible à un plateau pratiquement plat (2), de telle manière qu'une partie de ladite moulure forme une chambre de capillaires (3) entre ledit plateau et ladite moulure. Le dispositif renferme, en outre, une chambre (5) dans laquelle un échantillon d'essai et/ou un réactif peut être introduit et une autre chambre (7) pouvant loger un tampon absorbant. Un échantillon d'essai et la chambre qui peut loger un tampon absorbant sont en contact d'écoulement latéral par l'intermédiaire de la chambre de capillaires (3).
