A device for evaluating at least one analyte in a test sample. The device comprises a cassette having a hollow test chamber, a test strip disposed within the test chamber for receiving the test sample, and a temperature control member. The cassette has at least one aperture extending from an exterior of the cassette to the hollow test chamber. The test strip includes a reagent adapted to react with the at least one analyte to produce a reaction indicative of the presence of the analyte. The temperature control member is adapted to extend through the at least one aperture in the cassette and into the test chamber for controlling the temperature of the test chamber.

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à évaluer au moins un analyte dans un échantillon de test. Ledit appareil comporte une cassette présentant une chambre de test creuse, une bande de test disposée dans la chambre de test de manière à recevoir l'échantillon de test, et un élément de commande de la température. Ladite cassette comporte au moins une ouverture s'étendant de l'extérieur de la cassette vers la chambre de test creuse. La bande de test contient un réactif pouvant réagir avec le ou les analytes afin de produire une réaction caractérisant la présence de l'analyte. L'élément de commande de la température peut s'étendre au travers de l'ouverture ou des ouvertures de la cassette et dans la chambre de test de manière à commander la température de la chambre de test.
