The invention provides a compound comprising nucleotide sequences: -5'-P-N1-N2- G-N3-C-I-3' and 3'-Q-N4-N5-N6-N7-N8-N9-Y-J-5' wherein P and Q are any two nucleotides that can form a Watson-Crick base pair, I and J are any two nucleotides that can form a base pair, N1 and N4 are not both C, when N2 is A, N7 is not G, N9 can only be U if N3 is A, when N3 is G, N9 is A, and wherein said sequences are capable of annealing, characterised in that said compound comprises 200 or fewer nucleotides.

L'invention concerne un composé comprenant les séquences nucléotidiques : 5'-P-N?1¿-N?2¿-G-N?3¿-C-I-3' et 3'-Q-N?4¿-N?5¿-N?6¿-N?7¿-N?8¿-N?9¿-Y-J-5', où P et Q désignent deux nucléotides quelconques pouvant former une paire de base du type Watson-Crick, I et J désignent deux nucléotides quelconques pouvant former une paire de base, N?1¿ et N?4¿ ne représentent pas tous deux C, lorsque N?2¿ représente A, N?7¿ ne désigne pas G, N?9¿ peut représenter uniquement U si N?3¿ désigne A, lorsque N?3¿ représente G, N?9¿ désigne A, lesdites séquences étant capables d'annelage. Le composé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend 200 nucléotides tout au plus.
