A recent discovery showed that microcompetition between a foreign polynucleotide and a cellular polynucleotide is a risk factor for some of the major chronic diseases. The invention uses this novel discovery to present assays for screening compounds based on their effectiveness in modulating such microcompetition. The effective compounds can be used in treatment of these chronic diseases. The invention also presents diagnostic methods based on microcompetition with foreign polynucleotides.
Selon une découverte récente, une microcompétition entre un polynucléotide étranger et un polynucléotide cellulaire représente un facteur de risque pour certaines maladies chroniques graves. Cette invention a recours à ladite découverte pour présenter des dosages de criblage de composés en fonction de leur efficacité sur la modulation d'une telle microcompétition. On peut utiliser les composés efficaces dans le traitement de ces maladies chroniques. Ladite invention a aussi pour objet des méthodes diagnostiques reposant sur la microcompétition avec des polynucléotides étrangers.
