NOVEL ASSAYS INVOLVING FIBRINOGEN AS REAGENT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel assays and reagents are provided for the direct determination of blood factors, as well as complementary methods and reagents for determining such blood factors and haptens, antigens and receptors. The methods involve clot formation due to thrombin activat- ed fibrin formation from insolubilized fibrogen and labeled solubilized fibrogen. Insolubilized label can be determined prior to or after clot formation.
