ABSTRACT An assemblable ornamental finger ring comprising a pair of companion ring portions releasably interlocked in a generally concentric relationship. Each ring portion includes an annular finger receiving body with a peripherally extending arcuate seat for receiving in an abutting relationship an annular body segment of a complemental ring portion. The ornamental finger ring further includes a tongue-and-groove connection between the ring portions adjacent the arcuate seats thereof. The tongue-and-groove connection and the seats on the ring portions constitute a releasable interlock to solely allow a relative sliding movement between the ring portions in a release direction to effect complete separation of the ring portions.
