Abstract The invention relates to a process for producing an assembled driveshaft in which several tubular pieces or sleeves and a driving element to be attached thereon are inserted into each other; and for forming the stepped hollow shaft and for fixing the driving element, the inner tubular portion of a region of overlap produced in the process, at least within the driving element, is expanded from the inside relative to the outer tubular portion and the driving element.
