A mounting member for assembling two rods (T1, T2) of an osteosynthesis device, in particular for spinal osteosynthesis, comprising a generally rounded body (1) with a slot (2) separating two portions (1a, 1b) of the body, and two bores (5, 6) having transverse axes (A, B) intersecting the slot obliquely, and being engaged by respective rods. The member further comprises a locking screw (3) joining together said body portions so that when the screw is tightened, said rods are squeezed between said portions and thereby locked.
