Assembly, comprising an element (2) defining a lying or support surface, such as a foam layer forming a core of a mattress, and a device (3) associated with the element (2) for adapting the form of the lying or support surface in waves, wherein the device (2) comprises at least one selectively expandable and/or compressible body. The body (3) is further embedded in or arranged under a part of the element (2) which is lower-lying during use and has above it at least a greater part of the thickness of the element (2). The body (3) acts on a wave part of the element (2) so as to selectively bring about waves in the lying or support surface, which wave part is connected via a hinged configuration to other parts of the element (2).
La présente invention concerne un ensemble comportant un élément définissant une surface de soutien ou dappui, comme une couche de mousse formant lâme dun matelas, et un dispositif associé à lélément afin dadapter la forme de la surface de soutien ou dappui en une forme ondulée, le dispositif comportant au moins un corps sélectivement expansible et / ou compressible. Le corps est en outre enrobé dans, ou disposé sous, une partie de lélément située en contrebas pendant lutilisation et surmontée par au moins la majeure partie de lépaisseur de lélément. Le corps agit sur une partie ondulée de lélément de façon à engendrer sélectivement des ondulations dans la surface de soutien ou dappui, ladite partie ondulée étant reliée via une configuration articulée à dautres parties de lélément.
