Assembly for building a green or non-vulcanized tyre for vehicles, such as passenger cars, the assembly being provided with two, separately drivable, building drums (13, 16), in line with each other, for the belt and the tread; two carcass drums (40, 40') located parallel to each other, mounted on a common, rotatable shaft (39), the rotatable shaft being rotatable such that the one carcass drum (40) and the other carcass drum (40'), respectively, can be in line with the building drums; a first (14) and a second (19) transfer ring, both movably disposed on a transfer track (18), the first transfer ring (14) being movable between the belt building drums (13, 16) and the second transfer ring (19) being movable between the carcass drums (40, 40') and the closest building drum; a breaker ply servicer (30) and a cap ply unit (31) for supplying tyre components to a first building drum (13); a tread servicer (32) and a winding unit (15) for supplying tyre components to a building drum; a bead holding (27) and bead placing unit (21) and a carcass component servicer (29) for supplying tyre components to a carcass drum (22) in line with the building drums, a tread stitcher (28) for stitching an assembly of inter alia a breaker ply and tread against the carcass components provided on a carcass drum (22) in line with the building drums for forming a green tyre; and a removing unit (20) for removing the green tyre from the second transfer ring.
L'invention porte sur un ensemble destiné à la réalisation d'un pneu cru ou non vulcanisé pour véhicules, notamment pour voitures particulières. Cet ensemble comporte deux tambours de fabrication (13, 16), manoeuvrables séparément, dans le même alignement, pour la réalisation de la nappe d'armature et de la bande de roulement, deux tambours à carcasse (40, 40'), placés en parallèle et montés sur un arbre rotatif commun (39), la rotation de cet arbre s'effectuant de manière à ce que les tambours à carcasse (40, 40') soient, tous deux, dans le même alignement que les tambours de fabrication. L'ensemble est également équipé d'un premier (14) et d'un second (19) anneaux de transfert, mobiles, placés tous deux sur une voie de transfert (18), le premier anneau (14) pouvant se déplacer entre les tambours de fabrication de nappe d'armature (13, 16), et le second anneau (19) entre les tambours à carcasse (40, 40') et le tambour de fabrication le plus proche. L'ensemble comprend aussi un dispositif (30) d'approvisionnement en nappe de renforcement de la bande de roulement et une unité (31) pour nappe de sommet destinée à alimenter le premier tambour de fabrication (13) en constituants de pneu, une unité (32) d'approvisionnement en bande de roulement et une unité d'enroulement (15) pour l'alimentation en constituants de pneu d'un tambour de fabrication, un porte-talon (27) et une unité (21) de mise en place de talon ainsi qu'une unité (29) d'alimentation en constituants de carcasse servant à amener des constituants de pneu à un tambour à carcasse (22) dans le même alignement que les tambours de fabrication. L'ensemble est, en outre, pourvu d'un mécanisme piqueur (28) pour bande de roulement pour coudre un ensemble constitué, entre autres, de la nappe de renforcement et de la bande de roulement, sur les constituants de carcasse se trouvant sur un tambour à carcasse (22) aligné avec les tambours de fabrication et ce, afin de façonner un pneu cru. L'ensemble comporte enfin une unité d'extraction (20) pour retirer le pneu cru du second anneau de transfert.
