ATHLETIC SHOE SOLE ASSEMBLY WITH FLEXIBLE ARCHES Abstract of the Disclosure An athletic shoe is provided with a sole assembly which includes a plurality of arch portions below the principal weight-bearing areas of the foot, namely, the heel, metatarsals, and toes. Each arch portion includes at least a pair of base portions and a downwardly facing concave arch surface which extends between the base portions. A generally flat outer sole extends beneath the base portions and is attached thereto. -15-
