The invention concerns an ATM cell switching device, comprising at least an input stage and an output stage, each of said stages including at least two switch matrices (411¿i?, 414¿j?, 422¿k?), wherein there exists a specific path between each input (412¿i?) of one of said input matrices and each output (442¿j?) of each of said output matrices, such that the data flow carried by any intermediate link (413¿i?, 423¿j?) forming said specific path is a subset of flows carried respectively by the input link and the output link with which they are associated. The device may include for example two or three stages.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de commutation de cellules ATM, comprenant au moins un étage d'entrée et un étage de sortie, chacun desdits étages comprenant au moins deux matrices de commutation (411i, 414j, 422k), dans lequel il existe un chemin spécifique entre chaque entrée (412i) d'une desdites matrices d'entrée et chaque sortie (442j) d'une desdites matrices de sortie, de façon que le flux de données porté par tout lien intermédiaire (413i, 423j) formant ledit chemin spécifique soit un sous-ensemble des flux portés respectivement par le lien d'entrée et le lien de sortie auxquels il est associé. Le dispositif peut comprendre par exemple deux ou trois étages.
