The invention concerns a method for metal strip heat treatment comprising: passing the strip inside a chamber through a heating zone, and a cooling zone, and establishing a first protective gas atmosphere containing nitrogen and a first hydrogen content in the chamber, except for the cooling zone, wherein is adjusted a second protective gas atmosphere containing nitrogen and a second hydrogen content higher than the first, introducing nitrogen into the chamber, injecting protective gas containing a third hydrogen content higher than said second content in said cooling zone, producing a gas exchange between one zone of the chamber having said first protective gas atmosphere and said cooling zone, and controlling the flow of said introduction and said injection.
Procédé de traitement thermique de bande métallique comprenant, à l'intérieur d'une enceinte un passage de la bande au travers d'une zone de chauffage, et d'une zone de refroidissement, et un établissement d'une première atmosphère de gaz protecteur contenant de l'azote et une première teneur en hydrogène dans l'enceinte, à l'exception de la zone de refroidissement, dans laquelle est ajustée une deuxième atmosphère de gaz protecteur contenant de l'azote et une deuxième teneur en hydrogène supérieure à la première, une introduction d'azote dans l'enceinte, une injection de gaz protecteur contenant une troisième teneur en hydrogène supérieure à ladite deuxième dans ladite zone de refroidissement, un échange gazeux entre une zone de l'enceinte présentant ladite première atmosphère de gaz protecteur et ladite zone de refroidissement, et un contrôle de débit de ladite introduction et de ladite injection.
