ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wear-resistant alloy is used for atomic power plant part which is essentially formed of 30 to 40% by weight of chromium; 1.5 to 4% by weight of at least one metal component selected from the group consisting of aluminium and titanium; 0 to 10% by weight of molybdenum; the balance nickel. The wear and/or cavitation erosion products have a very short half life.
