This invention describes novel DNA sequences that function as promoters of transcription of associated nucleotide sequences. More specifically, this invention describes DNA sequences conferring constitutive expression to an associated nucleotide sequence. The invention also describes recombinant sequences containing such promoter sequences. The said recombinant DNA sequences may be used to create transgenic plants, but especially transgenic plants expressing a nucleotide sequence of interest at all times and in most tissues and organs.

La présente invention concerne de nouvelles séquences d'ADN qui fonctionnent comme des promoteurs de transcription de séquences nucléotidiques associées. Cette invention concerne plus particulièrement des séquences d'ADN qui confèrent une expression constitutive à une séquence nucléotidique associée. Cette invention concerne aussi des séquences de recombinaison contenant ces séquences promoteur. On peut utiliser ces séquence d'ADN de recombinaison pour créer des plantes transgéniques, mais plus spécialement des plantes transgéniques exprimant une séquence nucléotidique recherchée à tout moment et dans la plupart des tissus et organes.
