A strip (10) for attaching a document to a binder without punching openings in the document or for reinforcing a document around openings formed in the document through which the document can be mounted in a binder. The strip (10) comprises an elongate layer (11) of thin flexible material, and a coating of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive (20) on one major surface (12) along an inner edge portion. That layer is free of adhesive on both of its side surfaces along an outer edge portion. That outer edge portion is visually distinctive, and the juncture between the inner and outer portions is straight and visibly distinctive. The strip (10) has at least one opening through its outer edge portion adapted to receive a portion of a binder so that a document to which the coating of adhesive (20) along its inner edge portion is adhered with the edge of the document along the juncture between the inner and outer portions can be bound in the binder without punching the document, or, alternatively, so that a punched document having a through opening by which the document is bound in a binder can be reinforced by adhering the coating of adhesive (20) to the document with the opening in the outer edge portion in alignment with the opening in the document.
L'invention concerne une bande (10) destinée à fixer un document à un classeur sans poinçonnner le document ou à renforcer un document autour des orifices poinçonnés dans le document, à travers lesquels le document peut être relié en un classeur. La bande (10) comprend une couche allongée (11) d'un matériau souple fin ainsi qu'un revêtement d'adhésif (20) repositionnable sensible à la pression sur l'une des surfaces principales (12) le long d'une partie marginale intérieure. Ce revêtement est exempt de matière adhésive sur ses deux surfaces latérales le long d'une partie marginale extérieure. Cette partie marginale extérieure est visuellement distincte et la jointure entre les parties intérieures et extérieures est droite et visiblement distincte. La bande (10) est pourvue d'au moins un orifice fait à travers la partie marginale extérieure, adapté pour recevoir une partie d'un classeur de telle sorte qu'on puisse placer dans le classeur un document sur lequel le revêtement d'adhésif (20) le long de la portion marginale intérieure est collé, le bord du document se trouvant le long de la jointure entre les parties intérieures et extérieures, sans avoir à poinçonner le document ou, encore, de telle sorte qu'un document poinçonné ayant un orifice traversant par lequel le document est placé dans un classeur puisse être renforcé en appliquant le revêtement adhésif (20) sur le document, l'orifice dans la partie marginale extérieure étant aligné avec l'orifice du document.
