ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A clip for connecting two metal sheets arranged approximately at right angles to each other has a head and a two-legged, slotted shank. The shank is passed through one metal sheet in such a manner that the head lies at least indirectly thereon, the other sheet being clamped between the slots in the legs of the shank. The distance between the two legs of the shank is greater than the thickness of the clamped sheet, being, more particularly, a multiple of the sheet thickness. The slots run approximately lengthwise of the legs and near the head each has a bent or angled end section. The bends in the two slots run in opposite directions, thus imparting a jog to the sheet clamped in the said slots.
