ABSTRACT The present invention allows the attachment of a push-button switch not having a flange to a plastic base in a single operation without using a fastener, and prevents indiscriminate operation. An attachment device for a push- button switch is described wherein, together with a loosely inserting operating piece of push-button switch into a hole of a plastic base between resilient locking pieces integrally provided on the base, an insulating plate is inserted onto connection terminals provided protruding from the opposing surface of the push-button switch by means of holes in the insulating plate, and projections on both sides of the insulating plate are held by making resilient contact with locking ledges of the resilient locking pieces. Furthermor, guiding beveled surfaces 2b may be provided inclined towards locking ledges. Moreover, a printed circuit board may be used for the insulating plate, the connection terminals of pushbutton switch may be inserted through holes provided in conducting land portions of the insulating plate, and the connection terminals 5 may be soldered to the conducting land portions.
