A B S T R A C T The present invention relates to an attachment device for mounted transmissions, more particularly for planetary gear trains with torque supports used to drive bucket wheels or the like. Previous means for attaching such transmissions to bucket wheels required a relatively large space between the transmission and the bucket wheel. The present invention minimizes the distance between the transmission and the bucket wheel by use of a serrated drive shaft of the trans- mission which is inserted into a matching internal profile of the bucket wheel. The transmission is attached by means of a connecting shaft running from the end face of the drive shaft coaxially through a central bore in the bucket wheel, to the other side thereof, where the free end of the connecting shaft is secured, preferably resiliently, in relation to the end face of the bucket wheel.
