Abstract An attachment device for plastic liners wherein the liner is in the form of sheet like material and a first connector is adapted to be secured to the substrate. A second connector is adapted to engage the first connector by slidable engagement, with the second connector having opposing slots for receiving a portion of leading side edges of the sheet like material. In a preferred manner, the opposing slots have inclined portions so that the leading side edges of the liner material are biased against a top wall portion of the slot, the first connector is T-shaped, and the second connector is C- shaped.
