ATTACHMENT FOR CROSSBOW THAT SHOOTS ARROWS TO ENABLE IT TO SHOOT SLUGS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A crossbow may be adapted so as to fire slugs as well as arrows, by attaching a guide means to the stock of the crossbow. The removable elongated guide means is arranged so as to provide a barrel for the slug, and the slug is fired otherwise by releasing the bow string so as to impinge on the slug and force it out the barrel. The bow string is held in such a manner that the slug may be loaded into its firing position.
