ABSTRACT A glare controlling device for use with focussed headlamps used on vehicles to illuminate the path ahead, the device having a light transmitting structure defining openings and attachment means coupling the structure to the headlamp in locating contact with focusing bosses on the headlamp, the structure being positioned with the openings in alignment with light travelling in illuminating paths, and the structure being in line with light travelling along glare paths to modify the light along the glare paths by changing the colour of the light.
