An attachment for mounting a backhoe type bucket on a front-end loader having lifting arms for tiltably holding a wide bucket and hydraulic tilting cylinders for tilting the wide bucket, and which allows the front-end loader to be used as a backhoe. The attachment comprises a frame suitable for attachment to the front-end loader mechanism in the absence of the wide bucket, the frame having end connector parts with a lower pair of pivots attachable to the lifting arms and with an upper pair of pivots attachable to the hydraulic tilting cylinders. The lower and upper pairs of pivots lie in a common plane, and a bucket arm carrying a backhoe bucket is connected to the frame by pivot means allowing movement of the bucket arm relative to the frame about a pivot axis which is so related to the common plane of the frame pivots that when the common plane is vertical this pivot axis extends fore-and-aft of the front-end loader and the backhoe bucket is close to its lowest position. A hydraulic cylinder directly connects the bucket arm to the frame for swinging the bucket arm sideways relative to the front-end loader about the pivot axis to allow material to be dumped from the backhoe bucket beside a trench or hole being dug without movement of the front-end loader.
Accessoire permettant d'installer un godet de pelle de rétrocaveuse sur une chargeuse ayant des bras de levage et des vérins d'inclinaison hydrauliques, servant respectivement à faire pivoter et à soutenir, ainsi qu'à faire basculer un large godet, grâce auxquels la chargeuse peut être transformée en pelle rétrocaveuse. L'accessoire est constitué d'un cadre, qui se fixe sur le mécanisme de la chargeuse une fois que le large godet a été enlevé, muni de dispositifs de raccordement d'extrémité, de deux tourillons inférieurs fixés sur les bras de levage et de deux tourillons supérieurs rattachés aux vérins d'inclinaison. Les paires de tourillons supérieurs et inférieurs se situent sur le même plan. Le bras à godet qui soutient le godet de pelle rétrocaveuse est relié au cadre par des tourillons lui permettant de se déplacer, par rapport au cadre, sur un axe de pivot situé sur le même plan que celui des tourillons du cadre de sorte que, lorsque ce plan est vertical, cet axe de pivot s'étend dans le sens longitudinal de la chargeuse et, par conséquent, le godet se trouve essentiellement dans sa position la plus basse. Un vérin relie directement le bras à godet au cadre pour lui permettre de balancer, sur l'axe de pivot, transversalement par rapport à la chargeuse, de sorte qu'il est possible de décharger le contenu du godet à côté de la tranchée ou du trou sans avoir à déplacer la chargeuse.
