ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An attachment insert for hollow ended furniture legs. The attachment comprises an end plate. A boss extending from the end plate and dimensioned to be a close fit in the hollow end of the furniture leg. A flange extending radially from the end plate, outside the boss, to control the depth of insertion of the attachment insert into the furniture leg. A bore extending through the insert and dimensioned to receive a threaded stud, and a means to prevent the stud rotating in the bore. A leg including the attachment in also described. The insert permits more stable mounting of the leg.
