ABSTRACT A bag structure and a method wherein thin sheet or film bag body material, and fusibly incompatible extruded plastic zipper are joined together. A pair of zipper strips having reclosable zipper profiles and located along the outer faces of the bag wall panels have fused connecting anchors extending from zipper strip socket wall portions through holes in anchoring material of the bag body material received in sockets in the zipper strips and thereby permanently attach the zipper strips to the bag body material.
