- 13 - ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR RIPPER TEETH AND THE LIKE TO A HOLDER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Teeth, such as ripper teeth, used for deep banding, aeration and the like are usually secured to a holder or shank by means of a plurality of bolts, pins or the like which are required due to the heavy loading encountered and are time consuming and difficult to remove and replace when the teeth require replacement. The present device includes a mechanical engagement of the tooth with the holder held in place by a single bolt or pin which is only under light load inasmuch as the rearward thrust of the teeth against the holder is carried by a snubber block on the rear of the tooth engaging the underside of the holder.
