ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device is disclosed for the generation and enclosure of a delimited aerosol mist intended for inhalation via a mouthpiece. The device comprises an axially symmetrical chamber with a spray inlet at one end and a mouthpiece at the other. A part of the chamber adjacent the spray inlet is conically shaped to minimize particle deposition on it, and is equipped with a series of air inlets. The end of the chamber adjacent the mouthpiece converges towards the mouthpiece. The geometry and size of the chamber are such as will produce a suspension of substantially propellant free particles for inhlation through the mouthpiece.
