A nucleic acid molecule comprising nucleotide sequences encoding a capsid protein, a premembrane protein and a non-structural protein of Japanese encephalitis virus and a nucleotide sequence encoding an envelope protein of a second flavivirus, wherein the nucleotide sequence encoding the premembrane protein and/or the non-structural protein of Japanese encephalitis virus has a nucleotide mutation therein which can cause at least one amino acid mutation capable of attenuating a virus.

La présente invention concerne un acide nucléique composé de séquences nucléotidiques qui codent pour une protéine de la capside, pour une protéine précurseur de la membrane et pour une protéine non structurale du virus de l~encéphalite japonaise, ainsi que d~une séquence nucléotidique qui code pour une protéine de l~enveloppe d~un deuxième flavivirus. La séquence nucléotidique codant pour la protéine précurseur de la membrane et/ou pour la protéine non structurale du virus de l~encéphalite japonaise comporte une mutation nucléotidique pouvant provoquer la mutation d~au moins un acide aminé et ainsi permettre d~atténuer le virus.
