G G U G C C U 538 534 528 A suitable attenuated poliovirus has the bases G and C at positions 469 and 534 respectively for a type 1 or type 2 poliovirus or at posts 472 and 537 respectively for a type 3 poliovirus.

Un entérovirus ou un rhinovirus atténué, pouvant être utilisé comme un vaccin, présente une paire de bases inversées dans la partie, ou dans une partie correspondant à la partie, de la région non codante en 5' du génome de la souche Leon du poliovirus de type 3 illustrée ci-après : 471 477 483 ...UCC...CCAUGGA ... AGG .. GGUGCCU 538 534 528.
