ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to an audio frequency amplifier which has two different supply sources receiving electrical power from the terminals of the secondary winding of a transformer. One of these two power sources supplies the amplifier while the other power source stores electric energy in a capacitor to supply instant power demands by the amplifier for high active signals. Therefore, the audio frequency amplifier does not need a large size transformer for being supplied with instantaneous high power. This new concept applied to audio frequency amplifiers is named Dynamic Power on Demand,(D.P.D.).
