For an audio coding, noise suppression is applied to an original audio signal to obtain an audio signal with reduced noise. A coding mode is selected based on the audio signal with reduced noise. The original audio signal is then encoded using this selected coding mode.

Pour coder un signal audio, on applique une suppression de bruit à un signal audio original afin d'obtenir un signal audio ayant un bruit réduit. Un mode de codage est sélectionné sur la base du signal audio ayant un bruit réduit. Le signal audio original est ensuite codé au moyen de ce mode de codage sélectionné.
