An audiometric apparatus including a stimulus generator (12) for transmitting at least one true random stimulus sequence to a subject's inner ear, through a transducer (14) and an earpiece (18), and a sampling member (24) for detecting the response signal returned from the subject's inner ear, and received by a microphone (20), in response to the stimulus sequence. The response signal has at least a first waveform. The sampling member includes a waveform reconstruction mechanism for reconstructing the first waveform. The reconstruction mechanism includes a mechanism for applying a plurality of true random frequencies to the response signal. An analyzer (10) controls the stimulus generator and analyzes the response signal.
L'invention concerne un appareil audiométrique comportant des moyens de génération de stimuli permettant de transmettre au moins une séquence de stimuli réellement aléatoire à l'oreille interne d'un sujet et des moyens d'échantillonnage afin de détecter le signal de réponse émis par l'oreille interne du sujet, réagissant à la séquence de stimuli. Le signal de réponse présente au moins un premier oscillogramme et les moyens d'échantillonnage sont équipés de moyens permettant d'appliquer plusieurs fréquences réellement aléatoires au signal de réponse.
